Ruea Jean (Byrnes) Marinin, 73, Omro, formerly of Menasha, WI, was welcomed into the arms of the Lord on Sunday, January 31, 2021. Her family was at her side.
Ruea was born on October 10, 1947, a daughter of the late Raymond and Alice (Hoffman) Byrnes. She grew up in McFarland, WI and moved to the Menasha area where she raised her family. Ruea worked in the kitchen at Theda Clark for several years and also bartended at Germania Hall and Astro Lanes. She enjoyed traveling, and had also visited Four Corners Monument, the only place in the United States where four states intersect.

Ruea is survived by her children, Sherri (Roger) Huff of Menasha and Johnnyray (Sarah) Abhold of Appleton. She also leaves her former husband, Roy Abhold, her grandchildren: Ross and Leah Huff and Naomi and Asher Abhold as well as her great grandchildren Avery and Nolan Huff. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Ruea was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joseph Marinin and a brother, James Byrnes.
Visitation for Ruea will be Friday, February 5, 2021 from 4 to 6 PM at KESSLER FUNERAL HOME (304 S. Commercial Street, Neenah, WI 54956). A funeral service will follow at 6 PM with Pastor Mike Huff officiating. Final rest will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. The service will be live streamed beginning at 6 PM.
