Ross Richard Christman, 70, Neenah, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021 at home surrounded by family.
He was born in Huntington, IN on December 22, 1950, a son of the late Richard and Dorothy (Ross) Christman. Ross served as a US Air Force reservist before embarking on a lifetime career as a railroad engineer. He married Claudia (Urshel) and together they raised a daughter and two sons.
Ross enjoyed hunting, fishing and biking and was an avid Chicago Bears fan. He was an active member and volunteer at Calvary Bible Church, and also volunteered as a cook for Double Portion, a local mission that provided meals to those in need. Ross’ greatest love, however, was for his family. He was a proud husband, dad and grandpa and he will be sadly missed.
Ross is survived by his wife, Claudia, his children: Aaron (fiancée Jennifer) Christman, Joshua (Sajini) Christman and Angela (Andy) Koca. He also leaves his grandchildren: Emily, Grace, Ella, Priya, Silas and Emery along with Jennifer’s children, Mitchell and Abi; and his siblings: Judy (Cecil) Yandell, Larry (Marsha) Christman, Karen Wentz, Kaylynn (Kent) Brodbeck, Carla Christman, Mark (Sue) Christman, Scott Christman and Brian (Mina) Christman. Ross is further survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends and relatives may call on the family on Saturday, March 6, 2021 from 9 to 10 AM at CALVARY BIBLE CHURCH (1450 Oakridge Road, Neenah, WI 54956). A funeral service will follow at 10 AM with Pastor Keith Doyle officiating. Final rest will be private.
