It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Rosalie Florence Hanson. After a valiant attempt to overcome a recurrence of the cancer she had survived 6 years prior, Rosalie succumbed to it on December 11, 2020. She passed peacefully at the Rennes rehabilitation facility in Appleton WI where she was undergoing rehab from complications associated with her cancer treatment.
Rosalie was a printer at heart and by profession. During Her 33 year tenure working at Quality Printing in Neenah WI, She would often comment with pride on how the weeks print jobs were going and always made mention of the progress on the licensing books that she was printing. Her work family and the work they did together was very important to her and a great source of pride.
Though her work was important, family always came first. She was gracious and always had a hug for anyone that needed one. She had opened her home to many friends of the family over the years when they were in need, never judging and always providing comfort.
Rosalie was born on January 27 1938, to Godfrey and Bertha Koplitz and was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Marian Drews, Geraldine Besaw, and Son-in-Law Kirk Sathoff.
Rosalie is survived by her 5 children and their spouses; Lee (Abby) Hanson of Greenville, Lori Kuehl of Neenah, Lisa (Vincent) Albin of Neenah, Linda Sathoff of Neenah, and Lon (Vicki) Hanson of Neenah.
Rosalie was cherished by her 8 grandchildren and their spouses. Aaron (Sarina) Hanson, Lindsey Hanson, Adam (Rebecca) Kelley, Yvonne (Tracy) Lewellyn, Shawna (Adam) Bolton, Vincent Albin, Amber Hanson, Paige Hanson and her 9 great grandchildren, Lola and Oliver Hanson, Olivia Kelley, Memphis and Payton Metoxin, Donovan Hanlan, Madelyn Christl, and Eily and Alissa Bolton.
Rosalie is further survived by her sisters, LaVerne Bloedow, Nancy Samida, Susan (Greg) Gehrke, Diane (Don) Sonnleitner, and many nieces and nephews.
