Michael John La Fountain
Age 49, passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday evening, August 14, 2021 after an unexpected injury. Mike was born on September 8, 1971 in Neenah, Wisconsin the son of Daniel La Fountain and Nancy (Wolff) Massonette. Mike was employed at I-41 Trailer Center. Mike had a wonderful sense of humor. He was always making people happy without even knowing it. Little children loved him and he had a heart of gold, but Mike always lived his life his way.
He is survived by a fiancee, Bobbie Hoag; son, Kayne; stepson, Trentin Hoag; stepdaughter, Corrina Heider; a grandson, Sawyer Novak; brothers: Scott (Vicki) La Fountain, Jesse La Fountain, Jason (Kiara) La Fountain, Jonathan (Katie) Massonette; sister, Laurie (Bob) Davis; stepbrother, Michael (Monica) Massonette; stepsisters: Kari (Ben) Barrett and Jackie (Shay) Bodde; parents: Daniel (Pat) La Fountain and Nancy (David) Massonette; 27 nieces and nephews; and 4 great-nieces and great-nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held at Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial St., Neenah on Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. There will be a time of remembrance starting at 12:00 p.m. which will be livestreamed on the Kessler Funeral Home and Cremation Service Facebook page.
