Marjorie S. Kallin, age 79, of Neenah, formerly of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, June 19, 2022, with family by her side. Marjorie was born on May 9, 1943, in Oshkosh, daughter of the late Andrew and Hazel (Belzer) Mahr. After graduating from Oshkosh High School, she worked in food service management while at the same time raising her two daughters. Marjorie was a very hard worker sometimes working two jobs. She enjoyed family gatherings, desserts (especially death by chocolate), her pets, playing bingo and Kessler Old Fashioned’s. Marjorie was a very social person and loved living at The Highlands by Mahler Park, where she always said she had everything she needed. She is survived by her daughters, Doreen (Thomas) Benedict and Sherri Morris; her grandchildren, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Herbst, Chad Jones (Jamie Scholl), Timothy (Jennifer) Masse and Jesse Masse. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Hannah, Andrew, Gracie Mae and Bella Herbst and Jeffrey Herbst Jr; Selah, Sawyer and Spencer Masse, and a sister, Bonnie Marshek. Marjorie was preceded in death by an infant son, Jimmy Monroe, a granddaughter, Elizabeth Herbst and grandson, Nathaniel Herbst; brothers, Donald, Robert and Wayne Mahr; a sister, Ruth Andresen; her cat Kirby and her dog, Pattie.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, June 27, 2022 at the Kessler-Fahrenkrug Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial St., Neenah. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Park, Oshkosh.
