Howard C. “Howie” Schreck, 71, Neenah, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021 at Edenbrook of Appleton following a long period of declining health. His family was by his side.
Howard was born in Milwaukee, WI on May 12, 1949, a son of the late Henry J. and Lorraine (Chicks) Schreck. He married Theresa (Warmuth) 52 years ago and together had a son and three daughters. Howie worked for Waste Management for many years and later for Kobussen Bus Lines as a coach driver, a position he truly loved.
Howie was an avid sports fan, to include his beloved Brewers, Packers, Bucks and Badgers to name a few. He really was a sports fanatic at heart. In earlier years, he also enjoyed playing golf, bowling, fishing and camping. Howie was quite an outdoor enthusiast. His greatest love, however, was for his family. He will be remembered for his love of family and also as a “master of the punchline”! He will be sadly missed.
Howie leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Terry, his children: Denise (Bruce) Heckner, Deborah Schreck, Dani (Michael) Fuerst and David (Nicole) Schreck; his grandchildren: Breanna and Samantha Heckner, Brooke Wiitanen, Enya Carter, Chase and Addison Fuerst and Peyton and Paige Schreck. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Howie was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Joan R. Schreck.
Memorial visitation for Howie will be Monday, April 12, 2021 from 4 to 6 PM at KESSLER FUNERAL HOME (304 S. Commercial Street, Neenah, WI 54956).
