Gail L. (Werner) Glaser, 81, Neenah, passed over peacefully early Sunday morning, February 7, 2021 at ThedaCare Medical Center. She was surrounded by family.
She was born on April 22, 1939 in Racine, WI a daughter of the late A.J. and Neva (Holtz) Werner. She was a 1958 graduate of St. Mary Catholic High School in Menasha. She was united as one to Richard D. Glaser on December 12, 1959 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Menasha.
Gail was a caretaker of many children throughout the years and was still in contact with a lot of the families up until she was called to heaven. In 1976, she, along with her husband Richard, helped found the motorcycle club, B.M.W. She began touring in 1972 and enjoyed it until her health began declining.
Besides motorcycling with her beloved husband Richard, her other passions included friendships made along the way; which she kept close to her heart. She loved spending time with family, especially on Christmas Eve.
Gail loved to create and perfect her many crafts including beautifully knitted afghans, her dolls, sewing clothes for her children and grandchildren as well as her needlepoint projects.
She will remain in the hearts of her loving and devoted husband, Richard, of over 62 years; her children: Dawn (Christopher) Yansky, Kelly Delano, her “special son” Jeff Huntington, her baby boy, Hoover; grandchildren: Tara (Sal) Longo, Ashley Goode and Hayli Evans; her great-grandchildren: Bryson Longo, Addison Longo and Isabella Goode. She also leaves her siblings: Kim (Linda) Werner, Brian (Irene Schmidt) Werner, Terry Werner, her brother in law Gary (Dee) Glaser, sister in law Nina (Perk) Glaser as well as many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
