Duane E. Boelter, age 67, of Neenah, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, September 26, 2021. Duane was born on April 19, 1954 in Neenah son of the late Myrle and Jean (Belt) Boelter. Duane graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1973. After high school he held several jobs including the Neenah Foundry, DJ Services, Ariens Company and as a self-employed satellite installer. He was married to Kathy Pihlstrom on June 11, 1994. Duane always had a love for the classics and oldies music and would win any trivia spotlight on the topic. As a child he competed in ice skating, bringing home several awards. He loved to hunt in his early years and continued to fish throughout his life. Duane was an avid Packer fan and enjoyed a classic muscle car, especially the Corvette. He spent time with his family on yearly camping trips for several years. Duane enjoyed his t.v. time cuddled up with his two cats, Sassy and Casey and a basketful of snacks. As Duane fought his medical battle, he always assured his wife he loved her daily. He will be missed dearly in this earthly world and continue to be loved in his heavenly one.
In addition to his wife, Duane is survived by his children; Kerry (Adam) Serwe, Wesley Boelter, Terri Boelter, Jeremy (Mindy) Boelter, Chris Boelter, Jennifer Burton and Kyle (Heather) Fink; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Al (Kris) Boelter and Ken (Julainne) Boelter; two sisters, Carol Hartjes and Shelley (Matt) Stanley. In addition to his parents, Duane was preceded in death by a sister, Myrla.
