On Wednesday, May 12, 2021, Donald Dehn of Neenah, devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with lung disease. 

Don was born on June 23, 1938, in Berlin, WI to Harvey and Irene (Waters) Dehn. He graduated from Berlin high school in 1957 and married Sue Bombinski on October 3, 1959. He worked for Bergstrom Paper and Overlees for several years before taking a position with the city of Neenah, where he worked for 22 years until his retirement in 1992. On February 23, 2013, he married Janet Hansen. 

He enjoyed hunting and spending time at the cabin, woodworking, and watching NASCAR. He was a huge car enthusiast, especially his Mustang, and he loved watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren participate in sports and other activities.

Don is preceded in death by his parents Harvey and Irene, in-laws Tony and Irene, wife Sue, daughter Jodi, brother Dewayne, and brother-in-law Michael. 

Don will be dearly missed by his wife Janet; children:  Sara (Frank) Krueger and Jeff (Kim); grandchildren:  Mandy (Ross) Fleege, Molly Braemer (special friend Kroy), Caroline Dehn, and Anthony “AJ” Dehn (special friend Madi); great-grandchildren:  Keenan, Kaitlyn, Kolton, Klayton, Kellen, Koralyn, Keira, and Treyton; brother, Larry (Sandy), sisters-in-law:  Ann, Sue and Teri (Tom) Pfefferle, and numerous nieces and nephews, stepchildren:  Joyce Hansen and Judy (Matt) Dillenburg; and step-grandchildren:  Madelyn and Katelyn Dillenburg. 

The family would like to thank the staff of St. Elizabeth Hospital and Ascension Health for their excellent care of Don.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 17, 2021, at 10:00 am at St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish (900 Geiger Street) in Neenah, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:30am with Rev. Larry J. Seidl officiating.  Interment will be in St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah. 

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Don’s name.
