Christina M. Brant, age 50, of Menasha, passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022.
Christina is survived by her parents, Yolanda Brant, Vincent Brant, sisters Andrea (Lytle) and Jennifer Brant. Brother-in-law Jeffrey Lytle, Nephew, Jacob Lytle and Niece, Norah Lytle.
Given the many challenges Christina was faced with she loved listening and dancing to music, coloring in her favorite book, getting her nails painted, going for walks, eating popcorn while watching her favorite movies and ALL that is Disney! Christina was even able to go for bike rides on a special side by side bike that was custom made for Adults with Special Needs. Once her sister took her for a bike ride, our mom was watching, yelling at Andrea to be careful with Chris… Andrea looked at Chris and said LET’S GO!!! Andrea took off so fast going so around that parking lot, every turn was faster than the last… Christina had the biggest smile on her face, laughing as Andrea yelled HOLD ON CHRIS! Our mom was yelling for us to slow down… I am sure Christina felt so free that day… wind in her hair, that smile and her feet lifted off the pedals so Andrea could go fast… that was just one of many great memories.
She was an athlete in the Wisconsin Special Olympics for several years, participating in her favorite sport, throwing a ball. Christina would always hold a small rubber ball in her hand, so this was her sport! Others beware of Christina’s left arm, she could throw a ball roughly ten feet if she wanted to. Her sisters would practice with her before the big event however when it came to game time, Christina’s nerves got the best of her and the ball would land just a few inches from where Christina was standing.
Christina’s smile was so contagious and would light up any room she was in. She was warm and kind to everyone she met.
We know she is looking down on us, smiling, running and enjoying endless amounts of ice cream and popcorn.
Be free our sweet Christina, Chris, Chrissy, Buta Girl, CoCo and Tink, we will see you again.
