Bruce E. Schroeder, age 63, of Menasha, formerly of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully with family at his side on Wednesday, April 7, 2021. Bruce was born on October 4, 1957 in Oshkosh son of the late Edward and Marcella (Roloff) Schroeder. Bruce enlisted in the United States Army at the age of 17 and served for four years. He worked in the tire retread manufacturing business all of his adult life. He retired as the Director of Manufacturing at Rice Tire. A job he was very proud of. Bruce proposed to Debra at one of their favorite spots, Seven Bridges in Milwaukee and they were married on January 4, 2002 in Oshkosh.
Bruce is survived by his wife Debra (Tiry) Schroeder; his children, Chrissy Murphy, Kyle Schroeder, Kimberly (Mark) Barlow, Aaron (Jennifer) Malchow, Crystal Jome and Ashley (Ryan) Hoglund. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, his mother-in-law, Lois Bednarek, a niece, Charly Schroeder and a special family friend, Tim Fluette.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Chuck and his father-in-law, Delbert Tiry.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, April 12, 2021 at the Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial St., Neenah. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
