Obituary

Bruce Kenneth Schmiedel, 61, of Oshkosh, passed away of natural causes on Tuesday, February 15, 2022. Bruce was born on December 10, 1961, to Kenneth and Margaret Schmiedel. After obtaining his HSED Bruce enlisted into the United States Marine Corps. After his service to his country, He went on to marry and have two children, Bruce and Joshua Schmiedel. Anyone who knew Bruce knew that he was the most loving father and grandfather a family could ask for. Bruce was predeceased by his father Kenneth Richard Schmiedel, mother Margaret Ann Schmiedel, his sister Tina Schmiedel, and his loving fiancé Tina (Angel) Linder. He is survived by his children Bruce R Schmiedel and his wife, Sarah Schmiedel, and Joshua Cody Schmiedel; his brother Steve Schmiedel and his sisters Linda Lambert, Amy Anderson, and Julie Schmiedel. He is also survived by his nieces Jessica Stutz, Amanda and Ashton Lambert, Haily Phelps, Rachael Rodgers, his nephews Jacob Froehlich, Steven Schmiedel, and Paul Anderson. And last but not least, his grandchildren Angelea, Sylas, Otto, Ryder, Zander, Zoey, Auytumn  and Jayden.

Bruce was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world. He will always be remembered for his great sense of humor, his incredible sense of will, work ethic, and ability to help all those who would ask.
