Agnes Muriel Dunsirn (Kutz)

April 17, 1923 ~ October 17, 2021 (age 98)

Obituary

Aggie was 98 ½ years old when she passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 17, 2021. She was born April 17, 1923 in Menasha, Wisconsin and was the second oldest of eleven children. Aggie is the beloved Mother of three, Grandmother of ten and Great-grandmother of twenty-eight, all who adored her. As a young girl Aggie developed a strong work ethic by helping her parents nurture her younger siblings, preparing accounting files for her father’s business and later on, Aggie supported the Dunsirn family business, Mid America Tag & Label, during the “start up” years by working endless hours wherever needed. Aggie also touched many lives by volunteering in countless ways; from being a Brownie/ Girl Scout Leader, helping with Church activities, driving for Meals on Wheels, to knitting many baby hats for the Neenah ThedaCare Hospital newborns, and much more. She also enjoyed traveling with her church group, golfing, bowling, Tap Dancing with the Rhythmettes and her favorite Pastor, Marty Ruge, and up until 93 years young, Line Danced at the Menasha Senior Center. With her contagious smile and caring ways, Aggie taught us that with love and appreciation for each other and faith in God one can find boundless joys in life. She was very proud of her children, deeply loved her daughters-in-law Mary and Susan, and treasured the friendships she made over the years. Aggie is survived by her daughter, Janis (Gary) Seymour and sons, Duane (Mary) Dunsirn and Brian (Susan) Dunsirn; grandsons Todd, Troy, Tom, Tim, Sam and Charlie, and granddaughters Bronwyn, Andrea, Sonya and Hannah, along with her precious great-grandchildren. She also left behind her dear sisters, Nancy Smaxwell and Kathy (Ken) Syring, and brother, Howard Kutz. As a lifetime resident of Neenah/Menasha, Aggie’s last few years were spent at Island Shores in Neenah where she truly enjoyed lunches with her girlfriends and Saturday Bingo games, especially when she won a prize. We are grateful to the wonderful staff at Island Shores and the ThedaCare Hospice Nurses for providing tender care to our mother and to our hearts. In lieu of a funeral ceremony there will be a family Celebration of Life for Aggie in the future.
