Addie Mulvey, age 92, of Neenah, passed away peacefully at her home with family by her side on Thursday, November 25, 2021. Addie was born on August 4, 1929 in Texarkana, Arkansas daughter of the late Louis and Beryl Lathrop. She married Francis Mulvey on June 10, 1953 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London. Addie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of the Neenah-Menasha YMCA Joint Effort Team, loved knitting, crocheting, bowling, bingo, cooking, reading, playing cards and dominos. She was a charter member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Neenah. Addie was one of the founding members of the St. Mary Winneconne Family Life group who fed many families at Thanksgiving and Christmas over the years. In years past, Addie and Francis enjoyed winters in Florida.
Addie is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law; Sharon Mulvey, Madison and Julie (Dennis) Von Holzen, Winneconne; four sons and three daughters-in-law; Jerrold Mulvey, Little Chute; Edward (Jean) Mulvey, Bowler; Alan (Linda) Mulvey, Bradenton, FL; Todd (Amanda) Mulvey, Long Lake; 10 grandchildren; Coleen (Troy), Scott, James, Kristen, Jamil, Jennifer (Jerel), Denise (Mike), Heather (special friend Max), Katie (Andre), and Amy (Tori); several great grandchildren with another one on the way and three great great grandchildren with one on the way. She is further survived by one brother and sister-in-law; Tom (MaryAnn) Lathrop; one sister; Dorothy Scheller and one sister-in-law; Maxine Lathrop; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends and others who loved her dearly.
Addie was preceded in death by her parents; spouse; infant son James Louis Mulvey; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Jessie Lathrop and Marjorie (Tommy) Tomlinson; three brothers, Louis Jr., Burton, and Ted; brother-in-law Henry Scheller; daughter-in-law Diana Mulvey; son-in-law Frantin DeMontmorency; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Harold (Jeanne) Mulvey, Lawrence (Janet) Mulvey, James (Kathy) Mulvey, Russell (Regina) Mulvey, Merlin (Kay) Mulvey, Hazel (Elmo) Halla, Carol (Elwyn) Gloede, Eunice (Ronald) Green, Elaine Ruska and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Addie will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 900 Geiger St., Neenah.
