Timothy M. Gressler, age 68, of Neenah, passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2018. Tim was born on September 11, 1949 in Neenah, son of the late Lee and Ruth (Ehlers) Gressler. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Army Reserves. Tim was an over the road truck driver most of his life and worked at Wisconsin Tissue Mills for 20 years driving truck and in the mill. He was also a member of the Town of Menasha Fire Department for 20 years. Throughout his life Tim was an avid swimmer and a proud member of the 1,000 mile club at the Y. He was a certified scuba diver and enjoyed diving in Belize and the Great Lakes. He was a big fan of any type of racing and attended many NHRA drag races with his sons and grandsons, and also worked the pits with his friend Dan at IHRA drags at WIR. Tim was a lover of all sports and enjoyed cheering on his grandsons at their events. He was also a ferroequinologist and you could frequently find him parked along the train tracks or at the switch yard. Tim was so proud of his children and grandchildren and made sure he always let them know.
Tim will be greatly missed by his two sons: Dan (Tracy) Gressler, and Clint (Sarah) Gressler, two grandchildren: Timothy and Calvin, two brothers: Larry (Pricilla) Gressler, and Scott (Mary) Gressler, a close family friend, Ole (Maria) Egge, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, Thorton, and a brother, Danny.
A time of remembrance will be held at 6:00 PM, Friday, April 20, 2018 at the Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial St., Neenah.
