- About Us
Stephen P. Miller, age 60, of Neenah, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 17, 2019. He was born in Neenah on February 10, 1959, to David and Patricia (Schmidt) Miller.
Steve always followed his own path. After graduating from Neenah High School Steve moved to California for a number of years. Upon his return to the Fox Valley, Steve worked for James River Corporation, Outlook Graphics, and most recently TIDI Products. Steve was a quiet man who never sought to be the center of attention. Instead, he was content to quietly live his life on his own terms. He enjoyed fishing and grilling, watching The Andy Griffith Show (Barney Fife was his favorite), and of course, watching the Packers. While growing up, Steve’s daughter Kaitlyn fondly remembers watching “Courage the Cowardly Dog” with him every day! During the last couple years of his life, Steve’s disease took him to emotionally dark places. Unfortunately, the love and support of his family and friends could not bring him back from those dark places. Steve’s struggle is over. He is no longer in pain and has been reunited with his Dad and brother Jim, and for that we are grateful. We know the pain will never go away, but eventually we’ll find solace in our memories of growing up together on Bond Street as a family. We will always be a family! Rest in peace Steve. “Bye, Love you, See you!”
Steve is survived by his six siblings: Deborah (Jim) Bemowski, Karen (Suzanne Gaines) Miller, Daniel Miller, Thomas (Gerald Waschack) Miller, Mary Jo (Jeff) Beschta, Christine Miller; his children: John Alswager, Kaitlyn Miller; and his mother, Patricia. He is preceded in death by his father, David and brother, James.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 900 Geiger Street, Neenah. Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
