- About Us
Shirley entered into eternal life October 4, 2018 at Prairie Homes in Menasha after a valiant battle with multiple medical conditions.
She was born August 4, 1938 at her home in Waushara County, WI, the daughter of the late Albert and Marie (Hessler) Kuhn.
Shirley graduated from Wautoma High School in 1956 and went to work for Realist in Berlin, WI until the plant closed in 2002. At this point, Shirley decided to retire.
She is survived by a niece Christine (Gary) Gast, nephews, Arden Kuhn (finance Wendy Webster) Stephen (Jessica)Kuhn, and Bryan Kuhn. Shirley is also survived by sister-in-law Sandra Kuhn, multiple grandnieces and grandnephews, and special friends Pat Rooyakkers and Lloyd (Mary) Brooks.
In addition to her parents Shirley was preceded in death by brothers Harold, Eldo, Marlin and Arden and sisters Erna, Dorothy Raatz and a niece Carol Ann.
We will always remember Shirley’s spirit, love of the Packers, receiving her very funny birthday cards, her tender-loving care of mother Marie and brother Marlin and her life-long friendship with Dorothy and Reg Marson.
Special thanks to (Captain) Dr. Jennifer Schoening and her staff for directing the ship and fabulous support on our journey. We also wish to thank Prairie Homes for their Christian compassion in welcoming Shirley into Faith House. Additionally, gracious appreciation to the caregivers at Faith House, Heartland Hospice and Fresenius-Appleton.
