Mark F. Brown, “Brownie”, age 60, passed away unexpectedly at his home of natural causes on Monday, April 15, 2019. Mark was born on August 29, 1958 in Illinois, son of the late Edward and Grace (Witten) Brown. Mark was a master mechanic for many years before turning to car part sales at NAPA and Advanced Auto Parts. He was an avid fisherman who loved to spend time outdoors, especially camping. He loved car races, live or in Scott’s garage. He had a true love of music and could be found hanging out with friends, listening to a good band. Mark is survived by his life partner, Trish Miller, children, Andrew and Emily Brown, and those he chose as his, Alex, Jonny, Matt and Matthew.
He is also survived by his sister, Mary Ellen Brown and his brother, Tom Brown (Kathy), nieces Erinn, Shayna (Wil) and Cara (Seth). In addition, he is further survived by Trish’s family of two brothers and five sisters, their spouses and lots of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Grace and Ed. His brothers, Donald and Joey. Trish’s parents, Joan and Alden and sister, Mary.
The funeral mass for Mark will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 1617 W. Pine St., Appleton. Visitation will be on Monday, at the Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial St., Neenah from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and also at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
Trish would like to thank the emergency personnel that assisted her that day, especially officer Jared Reimer of NPD, who stayed with her and lent her so much support. She will remember your kindness.
