James Allan Meyer, age 82, of Neenah passed away at his residence on December 12, with family and dear friends by his side. James was born on February 25, 1935 in Neenah to the late George and Evelyn (King) Meyer. James was a graduate of Neenah High School and worked as a Fork Lift Operator at Banta Corporation for 48 years before retiring. After the loss of his first wife, Clarine, James would again find love, marrying Kim Besaw of Menasha on July 19, 2003 at Zion Lutheran Church in Dale, WI.
James loved baseball and basketball, playing with the Menasha M.A.C.S., Oshkosh Ambassadors and Neenah Baseball.
James will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Kim, son, Allan (Pamela) Meyer, and granddaughter Kayla Meyer. He is further survived by his brother, Gary (Bonnie) Meyer, and sisters Joyce Lindenbeck and Shirley Keddell. Also, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents and Clarine, James was preceded in death by his son, James Allen Meyer, many siblings and other family members.
A Celebration of Jame's Life will be held on Saturday, December 16, from 1 pm to 3 pm at Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial St., Neenah, WI 54956. A memorial fund has been established.
