Elaine E. Vancil

March 11, 2018

Elaine E. Vancil age 92, of Neenah, went to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, March 11, 2018. Elaine was born on February 24, 1926 daughter of the late Lawrence and Frieda (Schoenian) Bellin.  She was a graduate of Neenah High School, Class of 1943.  Elaine married Ronald Vancil on September 3, 1949 in Kewanee, Illinois.  They were married for 37 years before he preceded her in death on July 16, 1986.

Elaine was proud to have worked for Kimberly Clark for over 43 years.  Elaine's faith was very important to her.  She was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Neenah where she regularly attended services and was active in Bible class.  Elaine loved her trips to the casino and referred to them as her "investment seminars".  She also greatly enjoyed spending time with her daughter at Ellison Bay in Door County.  Elaine volunteered in the libraries at Trinity Lutheran School and St. Gabriel Catholic School for many years.  She also volunteered at Theda Clark in the lifeline department. Coloring was a favorite thing to do in her free time.

Elaine is survived by her daughter, Valerie (special friend, Doug Bahrke), her special friend Bill Schramm, a sister-in-law, Audrey Bellin, and numerous, cousins, nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by an infant son David, a sister, Helen (Ed) Fahrenkrug and a brother, Robert Bellin.

The Christian Funeral Service for Elaine will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church, 1390 Breezewood Lane, Neenah with Pastor Richard Frost officiating.  Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services.  Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Dr.'s, nurses and staff at Theda Care, Peabody Manor and St. Elizabeth Hospital for all the care given to Elaine.
