Janssen, Eva B. “CheChe” Eva Janssen, 83, Kaukauna, died Monday, July 13, 2009, at Cherry Meadows Hospice, Appleton. Eva was born March 11, 1926, in Little Chute, daughter of Joseph and Nell (DeBruin) Kobussen. She married Floyd Janssen May 26, 1951 and he preceded her in death December 5, 1984. Mrs. Janssen was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Combined Locks. Mrs. Janssen was employed by Kaukauna Klub Cheese until her retirement. Eva enjoyed playing cards, reading, doing puzzles, and dining out. Eva is survived by 4 daughters: Barb (Dave) Ruggles, Larsen; Deb (Kirk) Prasser, Spokane, WA; Paula (David) Fritsch, Green Bay; Lisa (Mike) Palm, Kaukauna; grandchildren: Donny (Stacey) Reblitz; Tim Reblitz; Richard (Stacey) Prasser and Kelly Prasser; Michael Prasser; great grandchildren: Dylan Prasser; Jackson Reblitz; step-grandchildren: Alicia Palm; Cody Palm; Tanner Reblitz; Kelly Guckenberger and Kristi Strenn; sisters: Evelyn Merkes, Appleton, and Sandra (Robert) Lindsey, Winneconne; a sister-in-law, Arlene Eake, Little Chute; brothers-in-law: Robert Driessen, Little Chute, and John Wirth, Kimberly; special friend from church, Cody Bizean. Eva was also preceded in death by her parents and a son, Tom Janssen. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 17, 2009, at St. Paul Catholic Church, 410 Wallace Street, Combined Locks, with Fr. James Lucas officiating and Deacon George Schraufnagel concelebrating. Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 9:00 a.m. Friday until the time of the mass. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established to benefit the National Arthritis Foundation. Contributions in Eva’s name may be sent directly to Capital Credit Union, 855 Eisenhower Drive, Kimberly. Jacobson, Charles N. “Chuck” Charles Jacobson, 53, Little Chute, died unexpectedly Sunday, November 23, 2008. Chuck was born April 26, 1955, in Appleton, son of Neil and Claudette (Bodoh) Jacobson. Charles married Susann B. Schreiber January 24, 1976, at Holy Angels Catholic Church, Darboy. Chuck was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute. He was employed as a welder at Val-Fab, Neenah. Chuck enjoyed hunting, fishing, and bowling. He also loved traveling up north and spending time outdoors. Chuck is survived by his wife, Sue; children: Amy, Luke, Tim Jacobson; his parents, Neil (Claudette) Jacobson, Appleton; brothers and sister: Ed (Beth) Hannon, Joe, Pam, Neil “Fuzzy”, Andy (Mindy) Jacobson; brothers-in-law: Mike, Ray (Lois), Jerome (Dianne), Bob (Mary), John “Beck” (Cris), Ron (Kathy), Joe Schreiber; sisters-in-law: Marge (Jim) Schmalz, Barb Gillis, Sylvia “Toodie” (Gary) Breier, Angie (Jim) Hall, Mary (Mike) Olson. Chuck is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Chuck was preceded in death by his father- and mother-in-law: Mike and Margaret Schreiber; sister-in-law, Alice Schreiber; brother-in-law, Gerry “Butts” Gillis. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2008, at St. John Nepomucene Church, 323 S. Pine Street, with Fr. Jim Hablewitz officiating. Interment will be in Holy Angels Cemetery, Darboy. Friends may call at the Verkuilen Funeral Home, 101 Canal Street, from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and at the church from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the mass.
