Halase, Trevor Michael Trevor Halase, 13, Little Chute, died unexpectedly Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. He was born July 4, 1995, in Appleton, son of Daniel and Kathleen (Biehl) Halase. Trevor was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute. He loved school and all of his friends at Little Chute Middle School. Trevor loved being with his sisters and family. Trevor is survived by his father and mother, Daniel and Kathleen; 2 sisters: Lexi and Madelyn; his favorite dog, Gabe; grandparents: Rick (Marlene) Biehl, Darien, IL; Gary (Linda) Halase, Freedom; great grandmother, Adrian Manno, Sun City, AZ; aunts: Michelle (Jeff) Kocovsky, Andover, MN; Tracie (Rick) Cahn, Aurora, IL; Brenda (Tim) Rausch, Appleton; Juanita (Dan) Frankfurth, Hortonville; many cousins, classmates and friends. Trevor was preceded in death by his great grandfather, Vito Manno. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 2009, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, 323 S. Pine St., Little Chute, with Rev. James Hablewitz officiating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute. Friends may call at the Verkuilen Funeral Home, 101 Canal St., Little Chute from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday and at the church from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of the mass. In lieu of flowers a memorial in Trevor’s name has been established.
Hulman, Eugene A. "Gene" Eugene Hulman, 75, Appleton, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Gene was born March 13, 1934, in West Allis, WI, son of Anton and Ann Hulman. OnApril 27, 1956, he married Mary Jo Logan in Las Vegas while serving in the U.S. Air Force. Gene was retired from the restaurant business in Boulder Junction, WI. Gene lived many years in Las Vegas where he was a builder. Gene is survived by his wife, Mary Jo; 2 sons, Steven of Appleton and David of La Crosse; 4 granddaughters and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter Kathleen Ann. At Gene’s request there will be no service at this time and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
