Debra "Debbie" Jordan journeyed to her new home in heaven on May 5, 2017, to be with our Lord and Savior. Debbie, 63, of Neenah, bravely battled thyroid and lung cancer for many years before passing while under hospice care at her residence and Atrium Post-Acute Care in Neenah.

Debbie was born on May 31, 1953, in Neenah, to the late Berwin "Jake" and Delores Jordan. She graduated from Neenah High School and the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a degree in Education. She was a special education teacher in Cassville, WI and Woodstock, IL. After her teaching career, she was employed as a dietary clinical assistant in Appleton before relocating to Laughlin, NV and then later to Las Vegas, NV where she worked in the casino industry. Debbie also worked for Clark County-Nevada Mental Health Services in Las Vegas as a counselor and case worker. She was recognized as “Employee of the Month” on more than one occasion and also received a certificate of commendation from Oscar Goodman, Mayor of Las Vegas. She loved being around and helping people. Debbie relocated back to her hometown of Neenah in December 2013.

Some of Debbie’s favorite things were playing video poker, hanging out at Starbucks, attending country music concerts, savoring a glass or two of Chardonnay, getting manicure treatments with special designs, enjoying the beauty of nature and warm weather, spending time with her dog, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers. Debbie worshiped at her home church, Our Savior’s Lutheran in Neenah.

Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Berwin "Jake" Jordan, maternal grandparents William and Olga Tomlitz, paternal grandparents Jacob and Eva Jordan, other family members and friends including many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and her faithful dog and wonderful companion Mattie.  Debbie will be greatly missed by her mother Delores (Jordan)  Klein of Neenah, WI, her sister and brother-in-law Tami and Bill Bartz of Beloit, WI and nephews Andrew, Aaron and Levi Bartz, sister Jory Jovaag of Pleasanton, CA, nephew Jason Jovaag of Las Vegas, NV, brother Bryan Jordan and niece Alyssa Jordan of Temecula, CA, brother and sister-in-law Jeffrey and Linda Jordan of San Diego, CA, niece Erica Jordan of Rock Hill, SC, cousins Kevin, Keli and Knox Corrigall of Kenosha, WI, cousin Kyle Corrigall of Port St. Lucie, FL, cousin Mark Spanbauer of Manilla, Philippines, cousin Lynn Resch of Clintonville, WI, cousin Michael Weiss of Irvine, CA, Tomlitz family cousins Todd, Robin, Paula and Gretchen of the San Francisco Bay Area.

Mode of Our Savior's Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will take place at the Jordan family gravesite in Lakeview Memorial Park, 2786 Algoma Boulevard, Oshkosh. As He Promised, He Will Do

John 14:1-4 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.”
